The Mindful project by Natuzzi Italia has been officially selected for the ADI Design Index 2025, one of the most prestigious acknowledgements in the world of design. The annual ADI Design Index is an authoritative publication that highlights the most significant design projects of the year, enriched by essays and contributions from leading figures in design and culture.
Mindful represents a new generation of relaxation furniture, designed to enhance wellbeing through advanced technology and timeless Italian craftsmanship. It embodies Natuzzi Italia’s “Comfortness” philosophy, which combines design, comfort and innovation.
The collection is defined by its unique mechanisms and ergonomic engineering. The zero gravity posture elevates the feet to heart level to promote better circulation. Micromobility technology subtly moves the seat to stimulate the body and reduce the effects of sedentary behaviour. The 365 function gently coordinates movements of the headrest and lumbar support with natural breathing rhythms, creating a calming sense of rest.
A triple-motion mechanism allows users to independently control the headrest, footrest and lumbar support for a fully personalised seating experience. Mindful is also highly modular, with multiple configurations, integrated tables, storage options and a wide selection of fabric and leather coverings.
Inclusion in the ADI Design Index 2025 places Mindful among a curated selection of the year’s most influential Italian design projects. This recognition highlights its contribution to the evolution of furniture design and its role in promoting wellbeing through technology, aesthetics and comfort.
The ADI Design Index is widely regarded as a gateway to the prestigious Compasso d’Oro, one of the highest honours in international design. The selection confirms Natuzzi Italia’s status as a leading innovator in the global furniture industry
